Ion brings a thoughtful, global perspective to our team at Wright Architects. Since joining us in 2018, he’s played a key role in a wide range of residential and commercial projects, always approaching each one with a careful eye, creative thinking, and a strong sense of design integrity.

Originally from Romania, Ion earned his degree in architecture from the University of Architecture and Urban Planning “Ion Mincu” in Bucharest. After graduating in 2015, he moved to Brussels, where he worked with SNCDA and Renovvital two firms focused on sustainable urban design and restoration. That early experience helped shape his commitment to blending tradition with innovation.

Looking to expand his horizons, Ion relocated to New York City, where he worked with local architecture firms before finding his home here at Wright. His international training, paired with hands-on experience in the U.S., gives him a unique ability to bridge cultural aesthetics with technical precision.
