WRIGHT ARCHITECTS WINS RESTORATION AWARD
Andrew Wright, principal of WRIGHT ARCHITECTS PLLC, accepted the prestigious award for his firm’s historically accurate restoration of an 1883 brownstone in New York City.

The brownstone also features a geothermal well (drilled 1,000 feet under the carriage house) to reduce the carbon footprint by providing lower cost heating and cooling energy. Other additions include noise reduction systems and state-of-the-art Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV) to improve air quality.

Mr. Wright is proud to be able to apply sustainable and environmental technology to his designs. The historic carriage house was originally designed by renowned architect Richard Morris Hunt (Vanderbilt Mansion in Hyde Park and New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art). WRIGHT ARCHITECTS PLLC specializes in aesthetic, comfortable designs for commercial and residential projects throughout the United States.

The firm currently has projects in and around Kingston, including presentation to city planners of a workable solution to the INTERMODEL project. WRIGHT ARCHITECTS PLLC is located at 200 Fair Street in Kingston, New York (845) 338-3383 and wrightarchitects@gmail.com).
