Urban Rooftop Living

This unique addition pushed the limits of design, logistics, and engineering, making it one of the most compelling projects in our portfolio. The task: build a full-scale residential addition on the rooftop of an active 35-foot-wide commercial shop, without interrupting business operations and without the use of columns. To add to the complexity, the only access to the rooftop was a narrow, single-lane driveway that also served the functioning shop below. But challenges like these are what we live for.

With careful coordination, inventive structural solutions, and the incredible patience and collaboration of our client, we brought this bold vision to life. This one proudly joins our internal collection of “ARE YOU NUTS?” projects, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
