We are honored, on occasion, to have our clients ask us to help them build homes in faraway places. In most cases the location is stunning.​

One of our dearest NYC clients purchased a lovely house on 168 acres in rural Vermont. The original architect was well known, but had passed on. Our task was to bring the house up to today’s standards and add a pool, garden, conservatory, barn and living space that would capture the beauty of the land. By keeping the original vocabulary, we did just that. Our final product brought softness, and warmth and made this home more than a place to visit on holidays. It became their full-time home.
